Me and my husband stopped in at this Captain D's why we was out woking.and the two ladies we had contact with Tammy and Melissa was absolutely the most friendly helpful ladies. They checked on the all the people in in dining area eating one table at a time asking if everything was ok if we needed anything. Such a great atmosphere and great food. We will definitely be back.
Much better Quality Seafood Restaurant than others I wont go into. I like that they have a little beeper type device for when your food is ready. The food is made fresh to order. Sometimes on certain days and nights they do get a little crowded but the food that I have gotten from there has always been good. They have a wide variety of seafood and non seafood meals to accommodate all types of appetite. Prices are reasonable and staff seams friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is good and its a comdortable place to grab a meal with family & friends.
The front counter workers were really nice, I just wish the buffet had more fresh stuff on it. Had to wait on fish to be put on the bar and when it got o. The bar it was all gone except for a few broken pieces. Want the best visit dew to the lack of an experienced kitchen worker.The floors was nasty had black sticky residue all around the drink counter. Bathrooms looked ok.tables were clean. Not sure if I will be coming back to this location.
There interior is update, however there is only 1 plug in the seating area (in the back corner) how is that? Floor was dirty, employees were pleasant. There is something about their hush puppies. I guess going to cap d when I was young was a treat. We were dirt poor and going here was like we struck gold. Thought we were big time. What did I know about seafood.
The food was especially good today. I did see unhappy faces on a couple of the employees tho. One lady with a headphone on was acting rudely but other than that it was good.
