Today I started looking at my bank balance and noticed that we were charged 10 dollars more than what was on our receipt.
Yesterday 8/22/2017 My wife, Son, and my self went to Taco Johns in Bristol, Virginia We were expecting the same great service that we received when they first opened instead the list of things that happened is unbelievable.
The first thing that happened was with the cashier she was very rude and kept trying to walk off while we were trying to order.
This was the worst experience that I have ever had at a fast food restaurant and I will never go back.
we called the district manager and told him the problems that we had and he said that giving refunds was bad for business and went on to tell us how someone found a penny in their potato oles.
Portions of food were great and tacos tasted great the potato oles were not good at all very bland tasting staff was very nice but the cashier on duty had a severe cough handling the food without taking proper measures as in gloves and/or face mask she shouldn't have been handling food or near it very disappointing
The next thing was that the floors and the tables were not cleaned at all there were used napkins in the floor and food laying around each table.
It takes about 20 minutes for us to get to TJ's and everytime we come this location we are never disappointed. Our food is always fresh and hot!
Now the next thing was very bad I pulled out my chicken taco thing and started eating eat the next thing I found was a very long hair in my food needless to say that was the last straw. My wife went to the manager to let him know what had happened and his words were that he could not give a refund but he would be glad to make us another one.
I hate to do it, but I have to give up on this location. My order has never been 100% correct. Almost 3 weeks after opening, how is this still happening? Tonight was the last chance. Got a grilled, stuffed, taco. Where was the 3 cheese blend, the nacho cheese, the sour cream, the hot sauce, or the crunchy chips? I got a grilled shell with basically unflavored meat on it. What a waste of time and especially money. So, I tried calling the store to talk to the manager and gave up after the phone was busy for over 25 minutes. Either they took it of the hook or worse, they are having to take constant customer calls because of issues. So disappointing that a great restaurant opens a location here, but is nothing like any other location I have ever eaten at.
I did call the 800 number that keeps posting under all the bad comments but I'm really not sure that the issues will be addressed.
I am night owl and I love to go and eat late at night. I drove a little over 30 minutes to get to Taco Johns and I get there a little after 10. I wanna say 10:12pm and I sat in the drive through line for over 4 minutes with no one at the speaker box. So I drive around the location and I see no one inside the building. I get out of my car to go inside because maybe there was no one on headset or maybe no one heard the beep. I'm not to sure. But all I know was that the doors were locked at 10:16pm. If you say you close at 11 you close at 11. I personally work in a restaurant/ fast food setting and I can't go and lock the doors a little after 10 just because we are slow. You are getting paid to stay open so STAY OPEN. What crappy management. I will never come back and never try the restaurant especially reading the other reviews. I wish I could just leave them no stars but I guess I'll leave one. Give someone the benefit of the doubt.
I would recommend that if you are wanting taco’s of quality and good customer service go to Taco bell. This place truly SUCK’S
