A little slower than they should be but friendly staff and good food
Hit or miss on service, there are a couple of fantastic servers and the rest are average, but the food is good.
Went there for a slice while I was in town. Establishment is nice & clean, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered one of their way overpriced slices ($6 for a slice really??) Hoping it would be well worth the price. I was told by the server the slices we're huge and it was worth it. When I got it, it was a little bigger than your normal slice, but nowhere close to the sizes we get in New York. The toppings are all thrown on top and it's thrown in the oven, so when you get it and try to eat it, nothing stayed on because the little bit of cheese that was on there was buried under the toppings to start with, they didn't even bother to sprinkle a little on top. The crust was bland and kind of hard, the only thing they got right enough to even hint at it being a NY style pizza was how thin they had stretched the dough.
Just ordered lunch from there ,I'm at work right across the street the first time I got the pizza it was burnt on the bottom, today I thought I would be safe and order the spaghetti and salad. The spaghetti was ice cold in a aluminum pans, and they didn't send my dressing either, I will never get lunch from there again.
If you're a fan of real New York pizza, you're better off finding somewhere else. I've traveled across the states and found many places that can make it just fine, this is just another overpriced attempt at making ok pizza.
We've been ordering from Johnny Brusco's for a year now and order three or four times a month. Me and my fiance' love everything we've ordered especially the best pizza we've ever eaten. A huge variety of fresh and hot ingredients make it our first stop when eating out. The other day our pickup order was messed up for the first time, but Brad gave us another pizza and a $20 gift certificate towards our next order which took me by surprise and unexpected. We are loyal Johnny Brusco's fans. Thank you for making and keeping us as your loyal customers.
